About the Role
Join our Data Engineering team as a Senior Data Engineer where you'll lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines, database schemas, and batch processes. You'll collaborate closely with Studios or Enterprise Technology teams to ensure data requirements are met and processes are deployed across various environments.
Requirements
proven Experience:Â Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines with a track record of successful implementations.
Technical Proficiency:Â Strong skills in SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting tasks.
Database Expertise:Â In-depth understanding of database design principles, particularly with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
Workflow Management:Â Hands-on experience with workflow management tools such as Airflow.
Version Control:Â Familiarity with version control systems like Gitlab for effective code management.
Cloud Platforms:Â Experience with cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake, is advantageous.
Collaborative Skills:Â Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills:Â Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Education:Â Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
